What is a Neck Ultrasound?
A high-frequency ultrasound examination of the neck structures including the thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, lymph nodes, salivary glands, and major blood vessels.
Thyroid & Parathyroid
Evaluates nodules, goiter, cysts, and hyperparathyroidism. Guides FNAC for suspicious thyroid lesions.

Vascular Assessment

When Do You Need a Neck Ultrasound?
Thyroid Indications
- Palpable neck swelling or goiter

Detailed Neck Scan
Systematic evaluation of thyroid (both lobes, isthmus), lymph node chains (levels I-VI), salivary glands, and vessels. Doppler assesses vascularity if needed.
Report & Guidance
TI-RADS scoring for thyroid nodules. Recommendations for FNAC, follow-up, or endocrinology referral provided.
How to Prepare

- Remove necklaces and heavy jewelry
