How to Prepare
✅ Do’s
- For TAS: Drink 4-6 glasses of water 1 hour before; do not empty bladder
- For TVS: Empty bladder completely before scan
- Bring previous ultrasound and blood test reports
- Wear comfortable, easily removable clothing
- Schedule after menstrual period ends (days 5-10) for baseline
❌ Don’ts
- Do not empty bladder if TAS is scheduled
- Do not schedule during heavy menstrual bleeding unless urgent
- Do not apply lotions or powders on lower abdomen
